This decorative piece is formed from a smooth white stoneware. It is free-form sculpted. Clay is added in organic lumps, and then shaped entirely by hand to allow the form to emerge organically. The figurine is left unglazed so the piece retains the raw surface of the clay, allowing the material itself to remain the primary expression of form. Beautiful as a quiet sculptural accent on a shelf, bedside, or desk.

The Figure collection explores the human form as distilled presence. Each bust and figurine is shaped from clay and left unglazed, allowing surfaces to retain the tactile memory of hand and process. Forms are pared to essentials — weight, proportion, and gesture define their structure, while rough, stone-like surfaces anchor them in materiality. Light and shadow articulate contours, and subtle asymmetries lend each piece a quiet, contemplative vitality. The figures exist less as portraits and more as traces of being, offering presence without narrative and inviting reflection.
