Cove, 10

This decorative piece is formed from a super groggy, dark chocolate brown clay body. It is coil built, formed by layering hand-rolled coils of clay to shape the vessel gradually by hand. The outside is left unglazed so the piece retains the raw surface of the clay, allowing the material itself to remain the primary expression of form. A grounding sculptural object for a table, console, or open shelf.

 
The Cove collection explores mass and void through grounded, substantial forms. Surfaces retain the tactile traces of hand and process, emphasizing material weight and sculptural presence. Apertures, curves, and sculpted openings shape how each form interacts with light, shadow, and space, balancing monumentality and intimacy. The collection carries quiet possibility — as a reservoir, a cradle for plants, or simply a presence in space — offering objects that are elemental, contemplative, and enduring.
